Slippers

These are fun to make as much as they are comfortable to wear.  I got the pattern from this really wonderful shop Renaissance Yarns in Kent, located at Kent Station.  If you ever get a chance stop in, the ladies who work there are wonderful and Nancy, the owner is great, she always has wonderful suggestions for projects as well as gift ideas and her shop is so homey and quaint, you will love coming back again and again. I know I do. I go often to check out the new yarns as well as the usual selection and to chat with other knitters who love to talk fibers, designs, patterns and their latest project.

The slippers are made with Cascade 220 [100% Peruvian Highland Wool] and Lion Brand Fun Fur.  The wool is so soft against your tootsies you will never want to take them off - or so I'm told by the wearers!

Some new slippers I discovered last year are these cute little slippers that can be slipped in your pocket or purse that are in the shape of a little pocketbook, hence the name Pocketbook Slippers, designed by, Lisa Vienneau and Allison Barrett. There are two versions of this pattern, the seamed version and in-the-round version. I prefer the in-the-round version which is where the link that added below.

And the latest slippers I've been working on (July 2017) are these cute little crochet slippers that are so quick and easy to make. You can complete a pair in 2 hours - how cool is that! So you could make a pair this holiday season for your whole family!!!
